Hi. You might want to try searching family Triviidae instead =)

Hello, Hunter-MX:

These shells are not exactly Cowries (Cypraeidae) but allied-cowries (also called Ovulidae and Trividae, in my personal opinion). I think they are common species in that region.
Regards,
Sehr glücklich Cool

Dear Hunter-MX:

You can note perfectly that my english writing is not very good (but perhaps enough to be a true foreign languaje for me, I think).
Don´t worry for your spanish level. I think you have a good help!
Perhaps in the future we can make a good exchange. In that case, you can write me to my personal email if you prefer.
About mexican cowries, they are lovely. Annettae, isabellamexicana, robertsi and arabicula are small jewels!
I have a set of annettae collected in the late 60´s in Baja by an US shell collector. They are very nice and glossy even a lot of years after collecting...
...And México is a very nice country, of course.
Regards,
Good shelling there!
