I bought this freak color cypraea talpa, do you think its real or fake?

Fake or not, this is a nice "colour variation". However, I hope you have bought this cowry at a reasonable price, not too expensive...

These are quite rare, you made a good deal. There is also a form with an orange blotch on the base.

I see that selling in the market Cyp. tigris with golden patch and Cyp. mauritiana and Cyp. caputserpentis with red band. I thought its a feak heat treatment?...
