Dear cowry-taxonomists,
in order to avoid having different "teams" work on the same thing, allow me to list those taxa I am presently studying in regard for possibly describing them. So, I would very much appreciate if you could let me know if any of you intend to name any of the following populations so I can step back and not waste my time. Thank you.

miliaris and onyx from China
globulus from Red Sea
cribraria from Somalia and Red Sea
Sandalia from China (an Ovulid)

Dear Felix, it is very interesting to know what will appear soon.

I am certainly not going to describe anything, but I have quite a good number of C. cribraria from Somalia. Would you like to examine them and insert them in the type-series? I would very much appreciate having some Paratypes in my collections sooner or later (I have many, but in another zoological group). I am not proposing E. miliaris and E. onyx from China, because if all the specimens recently proposed on the market were inserted in the type-series, only their list would take several pages.

Thanks in advance

In search of genuine globulus from the red sea - sometimes(?) named cfr. giftunensis I could obtain one specimen 2 or 3 years ago from M.Verbinnen, member of the BVC and renowned red sea diver. He told me at that moment that he possessed a few more but beach specimens. If You need comparative material, I will search for the one specimen that I have in my collection and ask M.Verbinnen to contact You.
Best regardsfrom PVDB.
