Hello all:

Some nice common / uncommon cowries in a blue table, from left to right side:

1.- Erronea onyx typical but nice patterned.
2.- Monetaria moneta strong yellow.
3.- Zoila marginata albanyensis typical but large, almost flawless.
4.- Muracypraea mus tristensis, nice color and well rostrated.
5.- Cribrarula cribraria melanistic and slightly rostrated from New Caledonia.
6.- Mauritia arabica dark from Micronesia.
7.- Neobernaya spadicea large and well coloured.
8.- Cribrarula pelliserpentis callous and gem.
9.- Schilderia achatidea inopinata beautiful.
10.-Perisserosa guttata f. azumai typical but very nice.
11.- Erosaria marginalis melocellata beautiful gem from Somalia.
12.- Erosaria turdus f. micheloi from Mediterranean Sea.
13.- Leporicypraea mappa rosea from old collection, bought in a shop in Mauritius (by a friend of mine!).

They are nice! I have just started collectingarginalis, yet another variable little cyp, oh dear, this is gonna cost me lol

Thanks, Stolida Boy. I agree, another very variable shell, and probably will be hard to find in the future because the area of collecting.

Nice group shot Beni...marginalis in all it's forms are very cool.
I'm a huge fan of the occelata, marginalis, helvola forms.

Thanks, Ocyp. I agree too, also I like this kind of shells because are very coloured and not very expensive... Some members are common or uncommon but they are not hard to find in the dealer sites.

It's nice to know that some of the coolest looking cyps aren't that expensive. Personally, I really like the spotted variety...they make for nice eye candy, so to speak.
