Thanks for sharing. Impressive size/quality for both the rosselli and albanyensis. They must really be something when held in hand.

I also like the top-right venusta.

You lucky buggers living in SW WA!

I was going to post some pictures of my Notocypraea comptonii, piperita & angustata but i didn't want to make you jealous! Geschockt

Alas I live & dive in Victoria and Notocypraea are the only cowries i can find diving there.

Recently returned from a diving trip to SA and across into WA as far as Hopetoun. A relatively inexperienced diver like myself (in your waters) mainly shore diving was able to turn up some real beauties like large (43 & 46mm) near gem Austrocypraea reevei, unusual Notocypraea (blue piperita etc) and even a couple of Zoila. I can only imagine what I might find if I lived over your way. It is also frustrating to me that the further West I travel the water visability seems to increase (peaking in the Esperance area).

You guys are certainly fortunate to be able to regularly dive where you do.
I'll post some pics when I can.

Thanks again for the pictures... GREAT!

Regards,
Simon

To Dani81....great pictures...I especially like the giant rosselli and venusta but there all great shells...thalamega is on my wish list for sure.

To zoila....fabulous examples you showed there...the blue zig zac banded friendii is awesome and the pink tinged albanyensis is super too....all shells are super!!!

Thanks for sharing!!!
